SUNDAY SCHOOL The children’s program serves children ages 6-10 years old. The program is based on the Five Unity Principles, the teachings of Jesus Christ, and New Thought ideas presented in a spiritual environment. The children meet in age-related groups for a small group experience of Bible lessons, prayer, arts and crafts and holiday-related activities. The children also have an opportunity to develop age appropriate social skills in their supervised interactions. At the end of each Sunday School class, the children join the congregation in the sanctuary for the singing of the closing service song, “Let There Be Peace on Earth.” |
UNITEENS This spiritual, social, service and learning experience is for 11-to-13-year-old members and their friends. They provide service in the Sunday School as they develop mentor/mentee relationships with the younger children. Other events include the planning of an annual service for the congregation on the National Children’s Sabbath in October. The message of this day is a multi-denominational outreach to empower children and call attention to their spiritual needs. The group also attends two regional Uniteen Retreats (Fall and Spring) annually, in addition to other camping outings. These retreats are some of the most popular and transformative events we offer. Uniteens are provided opportunities to meet with hundreds of their peers to share in prayer, small group activities, and character-building exercises. The Uniteens meet during the 10:30 A.M. Sunday Service. |
YOUTH OF UNITY TEEN GROUP (Y.O.U.) F.I.R.E. (Faith Ignighting Religious Exploration) This is a spiritual, social, service and learning experience for 14-to-18-year-old members and their friends.
